Old Antonian Lieutenant K.G.S.P. Wijeratne of Sri Lanka Navy has been selected
to represent Sri Lanka at 18th Asia Masters Athletic Championships
to be held in Tokyo, Japan from August 1 to 13, 2014. His events are 400m and 400m hurdles.
He has represented Sri Lanka at 15th
and 16th Asia Masters Athletic Championships held in Chian Mai,
Thailand (2008) and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (2010) respectively and recorded the
following achievements:
Silver medal in 400m hurdles – 2010
Silver medal in 400m – 2008
Bronze medal in 400m hurdles – 2008
